Chip Taylor, Monarch Watch Director [chip@ku.edu]
"I consider myself an insect ecologist, evolutionary biologist, and through my long association with the Organization for Tropical Studies, a tropical ecologist. My research efforts have included studies of reproductive isolating mechanisms in the sulfur butterflies, reproductive and life history patterns in plants, and comparative biology of European and African honeybee subspecies." Dr. Taylor is currently a professor of entomology at the University of Kansas.
Jim Lovett, Monarch Watch Guru [jlovett@ku.edu]
Jim received Bachelor's degrees from KU's Division of Biological Sciences and began working for Monarch Watch full-time in November, 1997. He is primarily responsible for all things high-tech including web site design, desktop publishing, and maintenance of Monarch Watch's computer hardware and software.
